How Jakarta Gubernatorial Election Alters The Political Landscape of Indonesia

This has to be one of the most anticipated election in Indonesia’s political recent history. And it is not for presidency.

Much of the fuss surrounding the matter, I believe, are associated with Jakarta Governor Basuki ‘Ahok’ Tjahaja Purnama’s  blasphemy trial. With all due respect to Mr. Anies and Mr. Agus, the election wouldn’t be under as colossal of scrutiny as this if not for the controversy upon the incumbent figure. Anyway, sekarang udah tanggal 23 Desember 2016.

  • Leaders set example for those below him to follow.

Yet, among those definitions on the internet, I have to admit that this one below sounds much better (and definitely much more ‘honest’) than any other philosophical definitions people tend to interpret.
